With every book release I like to send along a little bling to my wonderful street team/influencers, those first readers who work so creatively to help promote my newest novel. This year I chose little pots of Bonne Maman cherry jam & a scone recipe. When Queen Elizabeth passed away last September at the age of 96, this recipe, said to be Her Majesty’s favorite, was floating all over the internet so I thought it would be fitting to share given our heroine’s English heritage in The Rose & the Thistle. I think it’s especially charming the measurements use teacups:) These scones are delicious, especially with butter, jam, & some clotted cream if you have it!
