I was so delighted when my publisher told me Woman’s World Magazine had chosen my novel, The Lacemaker, as one of their July 4th or Independence Day reads. Thank you, readers! This novel really underscored the sacrifices our Patriots made to achieve freedom from the British and become a new nation. I’m currently writing another novel circa 1777 which again has left me in awe of all that was sacrificed back then for the enduring, ongoing freedoms we have today. A tremendous amount of courage & resolve was required when our leaders were declared felons and traitors to the Crown only to become our nation’s founders.
