Launch team open! And now closed, thank you.

Laura FrantzUncategorized

After several years of not having a launch team, I’m partnering with my amazing VA, Amanda Geaney, to reopen that again. If you have a desire to help share about this novel with a Gospel heart, please apply at the link below. Amanda will be in touch in future about details. Thank you!

Launch Team Q & A

Do you handle your launch team yourself?

Years ago I did but now a VA does that from start to finish. It takes time to launch a successful team, so to speak, & I need to be researching & writing novels.

Do you help choose the team?

No. I don’t know who applies for the team nor do I know who makes the team. I prefer not to know as I so wish everyone could join in & get a book. It makes me sad to think of anyone being left out though I understand the reasons for that. Reading friends will sometimes tell me they’re applying for the team or they’ve become team members or share a graphic about making the team but I can’t or don’t keep track of them.

What is key to having a chance as a team member?

Since spots are now half what they once were, it’s more competitive. Reader reach & followers are the main consideration. Since it’s become so difficult for a novel to be noticed with the advent of AI & independent publishing, reader-reviewers with an engaged audience on socials are the top picks.

Do you read your reviews?

Rarely unless someone sends me theirs though I appreciate positive ones. Even very short reviews can be golden like, “I loved this book because ……” Reviewers don’t need to regurgitate the back cover copy since that’s available to all. It’s not necessary & takes away from what is most important, what the book meant to them.

*I so appreciate ALL those who applied even if you aren’t on the team. You don’t even need to be on the team to help a book launch. Reading & reviewing, sharing & recommending to others is wonderful & helps spread the word in your corner of the world!
