Have a blessed weekend!
That color is to die for! It is such a rich and beautiful blue! The print is gorgeous. I love floral prints and I love the lace sleeves. I really think I was born in the wrong era!
I hope you are doing well, my friend! My prayers are with you!
Emma, So glad you find that blue dress dreamy. Me, too! Like you, I love the floral print and that lovely lace. I’ve never seen a more beautiful color! What I’d give to know the wearer!
So appreciate your thoughts and prayers. It’s a very busy time so I need them! You have mine, always:)
Perfection! That is absolutely gorgeous. My colors! I can’t believe some lovely woman was blessed enough to wear that gown and flirt with that glorious fan!
Ah, the language of the fan:) I knew you’d know all about that, dear Carla. Glorious is the word for this ensemble. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a ladies night out and dress like this?! Sigh…
Oh wow!!! That is a gorgeous dress, Laura. And I just LOVE that hand fan!!! Makes me wish I had one day to have live in that era…big sigh đŸ™‚
Anne, I so agree – I was just thinking if I could just have ONE DAY back in time I would be so thrilled and thankful! I imagine each of us would choose different situations and time periods. That would make a fun blog post:) The fan truly is exquisite – and it matches so very well!
Hope your Sunday is joyfully blessed and wondering how cold it is in your area today, Laura??
As I commented on FB – I love Royal Blue, whenever I see clothing I like – in this color, it’s a sure bet I’ll be buying it (LOL)!! The lace and print on this dress make it even more beautiful!! And I’d hide my feet under it, just like Wren. I wear shoes as little as possible, even going out in the snow barefoot – when I was young, guess that may be another sign of a country girl(LOL)!!
I’m going to say a prayer over this blog in hopes that it will continue to work correctly for you (LOL)!! The date even appears to be correct!!
Prayers, love, and hugs to you, dear Laura!!
Bonnie! SO thrilled you’re back making comments! Others cannot and we’re still puzzling it out. But if you finally broke in, it’s nearly there. Comments are still showing up as November now but we know better;)
Love your thoughts on this dazzling dress. I think it’s one of my favorite ever on Pinterest. And the fact it’s from Pennsylvania makes it more special and nearer to Wren:) Only she would prefer simple calico, lol. But we can always dream!
This is absolutely beautiful. So stylish and tasteful!! And oh my goodness, such a tiny waist. I would love to wear something like that just one time or see some young woman be bold enough to wear something like this to prom. They would be talked about for years!
Loraine, So happy you’re here:) You say it so well – so stylish and tasteful, yes! Wouldn’t that be amazing as a prom dress! I wish more young women would bring back these timeless dresses. They bespoke so much femininity and class and more. You’re a gem in joining me and admiring! Thank you.
