Dear Beth, It just dawned on me that this is the last month of winter so understand your dad's anticipation of being on his feet again and back out in the field where he belongs! So sorry about that postponed surgery. Praying it goes off soon without a hitch and he recuperates so fast his doctors are stunned. I always pray big prayers, or try to. God is so good at exceeding our expectations! So interesting your dad is the oldest of 10 like mine. Those big farm families! We've lost 2 of the 10. Hope this winter is winding up well for you. Thank you for taking time here!

Hi!
Your words raw milk, hay and manure really bring back the smells of growing up on the farm! 😃 Lots of memories there! I think it’s great that your boys were raised on good old farm milk...nothing quite like it!
Thank you so much for thoughts and prayers for my dad! He’s chomping at the bit for a surgery date which was pushed back due to finding a bone chip behind his knee which is causing pain and has to be removed prior to the knee replacement, if he still needs it after that procedure. To him, spring is coming and he’s anxious to be recovered for planting season, one of his favorite times.
My dad is also the oldest of 10 children, nine surviving! Farming is in his blood and I pray he can keep going as long as he wishes to! He reads every night after his long days. Thanks again for your words and wishes! Means a lot!

Dear Beth, Your comments here are like dessert! Thank you for coming by and mutually admiring our next heroine :) and also for the Lacemaker sharing! What a thoughtful daughter you are. And I can't tell you how much it means that your dad enjoys my books! Lifting him up as he has surgery and praying for a complete recovery so he's good as new and back on his feet in no time. My dad was the oldest of 10 on a tobacco and dairy farm so I have vivid memories of when they changed to automatic milkers in those big barns and the smell of raw milk, hay, and manure :) We raised our boys on raw milk so are big fans of your dad and dairy farmers. I hope he enjoys the story like you. Please keep in touch!

Hi!
Eagerly waiting to read these! I love the Patriot cover as well. I love fall and browns/golds. The confident stance also appeals to me. 😀
I find I like the Captured cover as well. I wear my hair in a braid, too and I guess that adds to the intrigue for me! 😉
Really enjoying The Lacemaker! I’m making myself not rush through it so I can savor the reading. I have a copy on its way to my dad as well. He loves hearing you have a new book out! He’s a dairy farmer, just turned 69, and soon to be laid up with a knee replacement. He needs to be surrounded by reading material and your book will be on his stack! 😊

Never behind, Cindy! In fact, I'm probably behind in answering as Wordpress no longer notifies me of comments. Mercy! Like you, TCB was the first cover I saw and believe it or not, I just finished chapter 3 tonight as the author asked me to read it ahead of print:) It's so good - Michelle really has a way with words. I can't believe this series gives us a book every other month. How fun is that!? Bless you as you finish what I know is a busy week on your end!

I'm a little behind in commenting but my eye went immediately to The Captured Bride. The simple homespun look with the messy braid over the shoulder. I never was one for fancy and am most comfortable in jeans and a tshirt.
I just love this cover though. Might have to check out these books soon.

Love that you're turned to all things Scots, Beth. I just typed THE END this afternoon ahead and I love the ending! Now for titling and beginning of cover art. Speaking of cover art, if you have any ideas or trends you think worth mentioning, I'm all ears (and eyes)! Bless you for being here!

Lovely group of books! It looks like my book collection will grow with this bunch! I also zone in on covers and have bought countless books solely based on that! Fortunately the writing is usually great as well! 😊
Looking forward to the Scottish story you mention in your 'Autumn Again' writing. Love that place for a setting!
