That’s a priceless memory, Jennifer, and I suspect what she was doing was ages-old/historic. Regret, yes! I have bypassed things I wish I had now. And bought things I was sorry I did! Fresh print scent is a must 🙂 In fact, I just ran to the mailbox and no lace lol. Maybe UPS? Cannot wait!!

Nicole, You are a wonderful encourager and confidence booster as we roll toward release day. Your words mean so much because I know you know books! And quality writing is something we both value. Thank you. Honestly, the Lord is so good. I will confess that I have a certain feeling about my books before release and just as I knew Moonbow would be a hard read for some, I think Lacemaker will be the opposite as it’s romantic and in such a picturesque setting. The cover really does match the book. And my head editor seems particularly taken with this one. I so hope you are, too!

Lacemaking is so you, Carla! The book that was the most interesting to me may be the one you have – about the lacemakers in Ipswich, MA, close to your neck of the woods:) Seems even George Washington himself was a fan of lace and visited those artistic ladies. I do wish I could have gone into more detail about lacemaking in the novel. But word count wouldn’t allow and I may have run away with myself and turned it into nonfic instead! Here’s hoping you enjoy every page. That’s sure how I feel with your books. 🙂

Winnie, It’s really wonderful to see you here, too, and have the sweet memory of a real live person beyond your memorable name! I love CFRR and am so glad we both got to attend. It’s my favorite annual book event. You describe my struggle with Kindle so well. Guess I’m old school but a real book is so much better for me for the very reasons you mention. You sure can’t dog-ear an e-reader! Though I guess there are ways to mark those but I’m not there yet ;). Can’t wait till you meet Lady Elisabeth. I do love the cover!
