Finally get to see this and catch up! By now hope you and that bountiful garden are enjoying more sun 🙂 I miss that KY heat! Have to chuckle as we forgot to plant cucumbers this year so yesterday I ran out and bought a start and got it in the ground. Nothing like home grown cukes. Your salad sounds delicious! We’re thankful to be having the best garden we’ve had in 25 years thanks to a very unseasonal, warm spring. Nights are so cold here – 40’s & 50’s usually. Brrr.

I’m currently three chapters into SONS OF BLACKBIRD MT and enjoying it immensely. Was going to wait till I finished galleys but nope 🙂 Am sure you can commiserate!

SO wish we could have wheeled into your neck of the woods, Mary Kay! I love your heat and scenery. Our original plan was to include CA but each of us had different agendas. Randy’s was to get home asap, Wyatt’s was food, mine was history on the trip. Quite hard to reconcile but we did have fun and see some beautiful sights and enjoyed some wonderful dishes 🙂 If you’re ever in my neck of the woods, please give me a holler!

Our garden is growing, there’s been a couple of tomatoes, and more importantly to me, cucumbers!! Those are definitely my favorite. I’m so looking forward to more in the next few weeks. There’s also been some cabbage, lettuce, and onions. Had a very nice salad last week with the lettuce and cucumbers.

I will have to remember to go to IG later to look at the pictures of your cross country journey. And I am looking forward to the historical fiction post. There were definitely some beautiful covers revealed last week.
