Dear Linda, Thank you for stopping by here and also for visiting my home state! We’ve had a wild weather year with so much rain. Sometimes I think Seattle moved south 🙂 I understand the issues and desire or need to relocate. We’ve lived in WA State and KY for several years going back and forth. WA is much more expensive than KY. Personally I am in Berea and can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s a small college town that doesn’t change much yet the areas around it like Richmond, KY are growing fast. Berea is in central KY and right off the major interstate I-75. Property and homes are inexpensive and many are for sale or foreclosure. Anything around the Berea-Lancaster-Richmond-Mt. Vernon area is my pick. Maybe it will appeal to you, too.
