It’s been a whirlwind of a February with little time for the journal here. Now that I’ve landed it’s a good time to catch up with you and tell you about the blessings amidst the busyness. We’ll skip right over flu season and other snafus to the highlights:)
I’ve been spending a lot of time with our son, Wyatt, who’s a senior and about to graduate from high school and college this June. We’ve been on the road prepping for his firefighting career which makes me thankful the Lord made me a writer! Firefighting is not for the faint of heart. But we’re so proud of him and appreciate your prayers as he begins his own journey. I’ve decided the only thing better than books are my boys:)
I flew east mid-month on business, straight into a snowstorm where I was grounded for 3 days after a plane slid off the runway. My sojourn in an airport hotel was sweet! Several planes, trains, automobiles, and ferries later, I’m back to work again.
In the downtime waiting for that elusive flight I became a HUGE fan of Instagram.
If you’re a fan, too, I’d love to see you over there! Lots of fun playing photographer and capturing moments more frequently than here on the journal page.
Anyway, as we say goodbye to February and move toward spring, my prayers and thoughts are with you.
I’d love to hear what February has held for you…
